The demographic change poses a major challenge to our healthcare system to ensure good health care for older people. On the one hand, due to an increase in the elderly aged over 70 and 80, and on the other hand, due to the increasing shortage of skilled workers and fewer contributors to the social security system, health care cannot continue as before. Digitization can improve care processes to make them patient-centered and economically effective.
To discuss how the future healthcare for older people can look with the help of digitization, the ITG (Information Technology Society in the VDE) and Platform - Charité Healthcare Research invite you to the workshop "Digitization of Healthcare for Older People" on 03.07.2023 at the Einstein Center for Digital Future in Berlin. Scientists from computer science and healthcare research will jointly discuss concepts, approaches, and ideas for the future.
The workshop is aimed at both interested parties and experts who already have experience in the use of technology in healthcare or the development of technical systems in the healthcare and nursing sector.
